Founder and Lead Developer of Phoneum, Ivan Likov (Bulgaria) talks about Google and Apple banning mobile Crypto mining from their stores, 2018. Reason being that the market became flooded with malicious applications.
At first sight, most of these malicious applications would look like a simple “Calculator” app, yet in reality, this calculator app would be a very clever front, for something as simple as a piece of code that mines non-compatible cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Monero, or Etherum.
This third-party remote access leads to the device overheating which results in battery damage, as well as all proceeds going to a third-party collector.
Ivan Likov also goes on to state that not all applications are the same, and that they should not be included under the same umbrella.
Phoneum (PHM) is a mobile-only Crypto Currency designed to use the CPU and battery sensors to monitor the temp of the device to ensure that the devices do no overheat.- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ulzSqCPg-M
